114 Appointment of inspectors
The Minister may, by instrument in writing, appoint a person to be an inspector for the purposes of this Act.
An appointment may be for a fixed period specified in the instrument of appointment or for an indefinite period.
The functions of an inspector are subject to any limitations or conditions specified in the instrument of appointment.
The Minister may, by instrument in writing, revoke the appointment of an inspector at any time.
The appointment of an inspector does not —
mean that the Public Sector Management Act 1994 Part 3 or any other Act applying to persons as officers of the Public Service applies to the inspector; or
affect the application to the inspector of any Act referred to in paragraph (a) that applied to the inspector at the time of the appointment.
