164 Regulations
The Governor may make regulations prescribing all matters that are required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for giving effect to this Act.
Without limiting subsection (1), the regulations may provide for —
the form and content of notices and orders given under this Act; and
subject to section 162, fees and charges payable under this Act, the persons liable for payment and the recovery of fees and charges.
The regulations may provide that contravention of a regulation is an offence, and provide, for an offence against the regulations, a penalty not exceeding a fine of $5 000.
Regulations made in relation to the manner of publication of an advertisement may provide for the advertisement to be —
published in a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State; or
published in another newspaper; or
published on the Council’s website; or
published in another prescribed way.
