34 Request for removal
A request under section 48(1) of the Act to remove an entry in the register must —
be made in writing; and
include —
a land description of the land or other particulars sufficient to identify the location and boundaries of the land; and
the owner or owners’ reasons for seeking the removal.
Within 60 days after receiving the request the Council must make a determination as to whether the requested removal warrants consideration in detail.
A request under section 48(4) of the Act to refer the matter to the Minister must be made in writing.
If the matter is referred to the Minister under section 48(4) of the Act, the Minister must act under section 48(4)(a) or (b) of the Act within 30 days after the referral.
