154 General penalty
A person who acts in contravention of or fails to comply in any respect with any provision of this Act commits an offence against this Act.
A person who commits an offence against this Act for which no penalty is provided elsewhere than in this section is liable to a fine of $20 000 and if the offence is a continuing one, to a fine not exceeding $2 000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence has continued.
Where a body corporate is convicted of an offence against this Act, every director and every other officer of the body corporate concerned in the management thereof is guilty of the offence if it is proved that the act or omission that constituted the offence took place with his authority, permission or consent.
