40B Conservation land
The regulations may prescribe land as conservation land for the purposes of this Part if —
the land is of the class referred to in section 24(1)(c) and is not land that is classified as a class A reserve; and
the care, control and management of the land is placed by order under the Land Administration Act 1997 Part 4 with the Conservation and Parks Commission established under the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.
Regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1) may only be made with the concurrence of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.
