1503 Expenditure not to be incurred without authority of Commissioner
A member who occupies quarters shall not incur any expenditure on those quarters whether on the member’s own behalf or on behalf of the Commissioner without the authority of the Commissioner.
A member shall not construct or alter any building or structure on quarters occupied by the member except with the authority of the Commissioner.
Where the Commissioner approves of any construction or alteration of any building or structure on quarters by a member the cost thereof shall be borne by the member concerned but the property in the construction or alteration as the case may be, belongs to the State.
