The Commissioner may by written notice require a member who occupies quarters to carry out such directions as are specified in the notice for the purpose of putting the quarters, appurtenances and grounds into a fit and proper condition.
Where a member who has been served with a notice pursuant to subregulation (2) refuses to comply with the direction the Commissioner may direct —
that the necessary action be taken to put the quarters, appurtenances and grounds in a fit and proper condition and may recover the costs thereof in any court of competent jurisdiction; and
that the member, the member’s spouse or de facto partner, children and other dependants vacate those quarters.
