16 Notice of intention to close hostel
(1)
The licence holder of a hostel must give the CEO written notice of an intention to close the hostel.
(2)
The notice must be given —
(a)
if there are fewer than 10 residents at the hostel — not later than 90 days before the day on which the hostel is intended to be closed; or
(b)
if there are between 10 and 49 residents at the hostel — not later than 180 days before the day on which the hostel is intended to be closed; or
(c)
if there are more than 49 residents at the hostel — not later than 270 days before the day on which the hostel is intended to be closed.
Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $500.
