9 Disclosure and use of information
Information covered by regulation 8 may be disclosed or used in accordance with the provisions of section 298 of the Act as if that section applied to the information.
If information referred to in subregulation (1) is disclosed or used, in good faith, in accordance with subregulation (1) —
no civil or criminal liability is incurred in respect of the disclosure or use; and
the disclosure or use is not to be regarded as —
a breach of any duty of confidentiality or secrecy imposed by law; or
a breach of professional ethics, professional standards or any principles of conduct applicable to the person’s employment; or
unprofessional conduct.
