45 Owner to assist authorised officer
The owner of any premises in relation to which an authorised officer has exercised or is about to exercise any of his powers under this Act shall furnish the means necessary for, and shall comply with any directions as to the making of, any entry, inspection, examination, test, or enquiry required by an authorised officer and shall furnish such further or other assistance as the authorised officer may require for the exercise of his powers under this Act.
A person who fails to comply with the provisions of subsection (1), or who obstructs a person acting as professional or expert adviser or other assistant to, or interpreter for, an authorised officer, shall be deemed to have obstructed the authorised officer in the execution of his duties and is liable to be punished accordingly.
