5B Residential parks
A residential park is a place, including a caravan park, where there are —
sites on which relocatable homes may be parked, assembled or erected in accordance with a tenancy; and
shared premises for the use of long-stay tenants in accordance with a tenancy.
However, a residential park is not one of the following —
a place established as a retirement village under the Retirement Villages Act 1992;
a prescribed place or class of place.
A place or class of place cannot be prescribed under subsection (2)(b) unless the Minister is satisfied that —
the place or class of place to be prescribed is sufficiently regulated by another Act; or
it is not appropriate for the Act to regulate the accommodation provided by the place or class of place.
