60B Effect of suspending fine
(1)
An offender sentenced to a suspended fine is not to pay any part of the fine that is suspended unless —
(a)
during the suspension period the offender commits an offence (in this State or elsewhere); and
(b)
a court makes an order under section 60E.
(2)
The suspension period begins on the day on which the sentence is imposed.
(3)
An offender who is sentenced to a suspended fine is to be taken to be discharged from the sentence at the end of the suspension period.
(4)
Subsection (3) does not affect the operation of subsection (1) or section 60C or 60E.
