196M Member to select investment plan and asset allocation
A Term Allocated Pension Member is to select 1 or more investment plans in accordance with subregulation (1A) to be used in determining the Member’s earning rate and give notice of that selection to the Board.
The Member may select —
1 personalised investment plan; or
1 or more readymade investment plans; or
1 personalised investment plan and 1 or more readymade investment plans.
If a Member selects a personalised investment plan the Member must also select the asset allocation to be applied to the Member’s assets and give notice of that selection to the Board.
A Member may change the Member’s selection under subregulation (1), (1A) or (2) at any time by giving notice to the Board.
As soon as practicable after receiving a notice under this regulation the Board must give effect to it by investing the Member’s assets in accordance with regulation 196N.
Until a Term Allocated Pension Member selects otherwise the Member is taken to have selected the default plan.
