29 No publication of information about covert search warrant
(1)
In this section —
confidential information, in relation to a covert search warrant, means any information about or derived from —
(a)
an application for the warrant or proceedings on the application; or
(b)
a report or interim report given under section 28.
(2)
A person must not publish any confidential information in relation to a covert search warrant except in accordance with the approval of the Supreme Court.
Penalty: a fine of $24 000 and imprisonment for 2 years.
