42 Contacting proper authorities to make complaints, allegations of serious misconduct and representations
Without limiting the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1971 or the Prisons Act 1981 section 67, the detainee is entitled to contact the Parliamentary Commissioner to make a complaint in writing in relation to a matter of administration in connection with the detainee’s detention under the PDO.
Without limiting the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003, the detainee is entitled to contact the Corruption and Crime Commission to make an allegation of serious misconduct in connection with the detainee’s detention under the PDO.
Without limiting the Prisons Act 1981 section 67, the detainee is entitled to contact the Inspector of Custodial Services to make representations that are in connection with the detainee’s detention under the PDO and relate to the exercise of the jurisdiction of the Inspector of Custodial Services.
