25A Cattle spaying technician’s authorisation to carry out certain acts of veterinary medicine
(1)
A cattle spaying technician is authorised to carry out the following acts of veterinary medicine —
(a)
spaying of cattle using the Willis dropped‑ovary technique, if performed in the pastoral region;
(b)
certification of the sterilisation status of a cow that the technician has spayed.
(2)
However, a cattle spaying technician is not authorised to carry out an act under subregulation (1) if a prohibition order is in effect in relation to the technician.
