Application for approval

(1)

A charitable organisation desiring to conduct negotiations and make arrangements for the adoption of children or young people may apply in writing to the director‑general for approval as a private adoption agency.

(2)

An application under subsection (1) must state the name of a person appointed by the organisation to be its principal officer in the Territory for this Act.
