Animal Welfare Act 1992

A licensed pet business may apply to the authority to transfer a pet business licence to another person (the transferee).

An application must—

be in writing; and

include evidence to show that the licensed pet business and transferee agree to the transfer; and

state—

the transferee’s name; and

the transferee’s trading name; and

the transferee’s proposed trading address or addresses; and

the applicant’s proposed trading address or addresses; and

the nature of the pet business; and

describe the premises from which the business will operate; and

include any information prescribed by regulation.
