Animal Welfare Act 1992

A licensed pet business may apply, in writing, to the authority to renew the pet business licence up to 6 months before the licence expires.

The application must—

be in writing; and

state—

the applicant’s name; and

the applicant’s contact details; and

the applicant’s trading name; and

the applicant’s proposed trading address or addresses; and

the nature of the pet business; and

describe the premises from which the business will operate; and

include any information prescribed by regulation.

If a licensed pet business applies to renew a licence, the licence remains in force until the application is decided.
