108 Registration—surrender
(1)
A person may surrender their biosecurity registration.
(2)
The surrender must—
(a)
be in writing; and
(b)
be given to the director‑general; and
(c)
include any information that the director‑general reasonably requires to determine the consequences of the surrender.
(3)
The surrender does not take effect until the director‑general gives the person written notice that the director‑general is satisfied the biosecurity matter and carriers involved in the regulated dealing will be dealt with appropriately by the person.
