Emergency declarations—notice

In force

(1)

The Minister must give public notice of—

(a)

an emergency declaration; and

(b)

an extension of an emergency declaration.

(2)

However, if the emergency declaration is a property‑specific emergency declaration, the Minister may instead give a copy of the declaration, or extension, to the owner, occupier or person apparently in charge of the premises.

(3)

The Minister must take reasonable steps to ensure that people who are likely to be directly affected by the declaration, or extension, are made aware of the declaration or extension.
