Construction Occupations (Licensing) Act 2004

This section applies to demerit points incurred by a licensee for a construction occupation, recorded in the register and taken into account for—

a notice of licence suspension under section 97; or

a notice of licence disqualification under section 98; or

other action (disciplinary action) allowed to be taken under section 95 (2) (c).

The demerit points are deleted from the register at the beginning of the period of suspension or disqualification, or on the imposition of the disciplinary action, relating to the licence for the construction occupation.

Subsection (2) does not prevent the registrar keeping a record of deleted demerit points.
