506 Amendment—of pleadings disallowed
(1)
If a party makes an amendment without the court’s leave before the close of pleadings, another party may, not later than 14 days after the day the amendment is served on the party, apply to the court to disallow all or part of the amendment.
Note
Pt 6.2 (Applications in proceedings) applies to an application under this rule.
(2)
On the application, the court may make any order it considers appropriate.
(3)
However, the court must disallow all or part of the amendment if satisfied that, had an application for leave to make the amendment or part been made, it would not have given leave to make the amendment or part.
