51 Encouraging dogs to attack or harass
(1)
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, knowingly encourage a dog to attack or harass someone else or an animal.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2)
This section does not apply if—
(a)
the defendant reasonably believed the animal to be vermin; and
(b)
the defendant was on the land with the lessee’s consent.
