Electoral Act 1992

An application disputing the validity of an election shall—

specify the declarations sought; and

set out the facts relied on to invalidate the election with sufficient particularity to identify the matters on which the applicant relies as justifying those declarations; and

set out the applicant’s full name and address and the capacity in which the applicant is making the application; and

be signed by the applicant.

The signature of an applicant other than the commissioner shall be witnessed by another person whose signature, full name, address and occupation shall be set out in the application.
