306 Evidence of authorisation of electoral matter
In proceedings for an offence against this division—
electoral matter including a statement to the effect that it was authorised by a specified person is admissible as evidence of that fact; and
an issue of a news publication including a statement to the effect that a specified person authorised the publication of all electoral matter contained in reportage or commentary in that issue is admissible as evidence of that fact; and
electoral matter including a statement to the effect that it was disseminated by a specified person is admissible as evidence of that fact; and
electoral matter that includes a name purporting to be the author’s name is admissible as evidence of that fact.
