20AB Recommended appropriation for officers of the Assembly
Before the beginning of a financial year, the Speaker must for an officer of the Assembly—
(a)
after consultation with the officer and the relevant Assembly committee, advise the Treasurer of the appropriation that the Speaker considers should be made for the officer for the financial year (the recommended appropriation); and
(b)
present the recommended appropriation to the Assembly; and
(c)
give the Treasurer a draft budget for the officer for the financial year that contains the information mentioned in section 12 that applies to the officer.
