35 Temporary recognition of interstate licences, for possession or use of firearm—Act, s 136 (1) (a) (ii)
The following purposes are prescribed:
to conduct a shooting gallery for airgun use—
at the National Exhibition Centre during the period of the show conducted by the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society of the Royal Canberra Show; or
during the period of the festival conducted by ACT Festivals Incorporated of the Canberra National Multicultural Festival;
to provide security as an employee of a security organisation;
to control vertebrate pest animals under an agreement with the Territory;
to exercise the functions of an authorised person under the Biosecurity Act 2023;
to kill an animal in accordance with the written permission of the registrar.
