31 Investigation of complaints

(1)

A person may lodge a complaint with the commission, in a form approved by the commission, about compliance with a gaming law.

(2)

If the commission investigates the complaint, the commission or an authorised officer may give the complainant information about the status or results of the investigation if satisfied that—

(a)

the complainant has a legitimate interest in the information; and

(b)

giving the information to the complainant would not unreasonably do any of the following:

(i)

prejudice another person’s privacy or other interests;

(ii)

deny another person procedural fairness;

(iii)

adversely affect the conduct of the investigation.
