Legal immunity for council members etc

In force

(1)

This section applies to someone who is, or has been, a member of the council or an authorised person.

(2)

A civil proceeding does not lie against the person in relation to anything done or omitted to be done honestly by the person in the exercise or purported exercise of a function under this Act.

(3)

Subsection (2) does not affect any liability the Territory would have for the act or omission apart from that subsection.
