54H Time for payment of amount
(1)
A person served with a civil penalty notice must pay the amount payable under the notice within—
(a)
28 days after the day the notice is served; or
(b)
a longer period stated in the notice.
(2)
The commission may accept payment of the amount after the time for payment stated in the notice if—
(a)
the commission has not started an enforcement order proceeding against the person in relation to the alleged contravention; and
(b)
the person has not been prosecuted for a corresponding offence; and
(c)
the notice has not been withdrawn under section 54J.
