65 Causing obstruction, nuisance or damage with objects

(1)

A person commits an offence if—

(a)

the person—

(i)

throws an object into a lake; or

(ii)

does anything else that results in an object being in, or extending over, a lake; and

(b)

the object obstructs, or is likely to obstruct, a boat from navigating the lake.

Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.

(2)

A person commits an offence if—

(a)

the person—

(i)

throws an object into a lake; or

(ii)

does anything else that results in an object being in, or extending over, a lake; and

(b)

the object causes, or is likely to cause, a nuisance or danger to a person.

Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.

(3)

A person commits an offence if—

(a)

the person—

(i)

throws an object into a lake; or

(ii)

does anything else that results in an object being in, or extending over, a lake; and

(b)

the object causes, or is likely to cause, damage to property.

Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.

(4)

In this section:

throw, into a lake, includes propel, or project into, the lake.
