Damages for loss of earnings—none in first year

Damages may not be awarded in a motor accident claim for any loss of earnings of the claimant in the first year after the motor accident.

Note

Damages for loss of earnings are also limited under the Civil Law (Wrongs) Act 2002, s 98.
