412 Reports about insurers
The MAI commission may give the Minister reports about—
the level of compliance by insurers with—
the requirements of this Act; and
any conditions of MAI insurer licences under this Act (including the MAI guidelines); and
complaints made about insurers that relate to any matter to which this Act relates; and
anything else about insurers that relates to any matter to which this Act relates.
A report may relate to—
insurers generally; or
a class of insurers; or
a particular insurer.
A report may identify a particular insurer.
A report may include the observations and recommendations the MAI commission considers appropriate.
Note The Minister may publish a summary of a report prepared under this section. The summary must not identify a licensed insurer, or allow the licensed insurer’s identity to be worked out (see s 475).
