487 MAI guidelines
The MAI commission may make guidelines (the MAI guidelines) about any matter required or permitted by this Act to be included in the guidelines.
The MAI guidelines may make provision in relation to any matter required or permitted by this Act.
The MAI guidelines may apply, adopt or incorporate an instrument, as in force from time to time.
Note A reference to an instrument includes a reference to a provision of an instrument (see Legislation Act, s 14 (2)).
The Legislation Act, section 47 (6) does not apply to an instrument mentioned in subsection (3).
Note An instrument applied, adopted or incorporated by the MAI guidelines does not need to be notified under the Legislation Act because s 47 (6) does not apply (see Legislation Act, s 47 (7)).
An MAI guideline is a disallowable instrument.
