6 Registration term—applications for registration decided before commencement day—Act, s 25 (b) (ii)
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
before the commencement day, the registrar decides to register an individual for an area of engineering; and
(b)
section 5 does not apply.
(2)
The period worked out under subsection (3) is prescribed.
(3)
The individual’s registration ends 3 years after the day the registrar decides to register the individual.
(4)
This section expires 3 years after the commencement day.
(5)
In this section:
commencement day means the day the Act, section 22 (Deciding applications) commences.
