105 Notification by responsible people

(1)

A counsellor must notify the chief health officer of a person the counsellor has counselled if the counsellor believes, on reasonable grounds, that the person has, or may have, a notifiable condition.

Maximum penalty: 25 penalty units.

(2)

A person who is responsible for the care, support or education of someone else must notify the chief health officer of the person if the first person believes, on reasonable grounds, that the other person has, or may have, a notifiable condition.

Maximum penalty: 25 penalty units.

(3)

A notification under this section must be in accordance with the applicable code of practice.
