Protection from liability

In force

(1)

In this section:

official means—

(a)

the Minister; or

(b)

the chief health officer; or

(c)

an authorised officer; or

(d)

anyone else exercising functions under this Act.

(2)

An official does not incur civil or criminal liability for an act or omission done honestly and without negligence for this Act.

(3)

A civil liability that would, apart from this section, attach to an official attaches instead to the Territory.
