21 Activity licences—offences
A person must not carry on a licensable public health risk activity unless the person—
holds an activity licence for the activity; or
is a defined influential person in relation to the holder of an activity licence for the activity.
Maximum penalty:
for a person who is not a utility—50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both; or
for a utility—2 000 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
A person must not carry on a licensable public health risk activity except in accordance with an activity licence.
Maximum penalty:
for a person who is not a utility—50 penalty units; or
for a utility—2 000 penalty units.
This section does not apply to a person who is exempt under section 22.
