Race and Sports Bookmaking Act 2001

A race bookmaker may apply to the commission for approval to engage in race bookmaking at a designated sports bookmaking venue.

If an amount is determined under section 90 (Security guarantee—determination of minimum amount), in relation to the designated sports bookmaking venue, for a security guarantee, the applicant must meet any requirement of the commission in relation to the provision of the security guarantee.
