25 Failure to attach disclosure statement to village contract
(1)
The operator of a retirement village commits an offence if the operator—
(a)
enters into a village contract with a prospective resident; and
(b)
fails to attach a copy of the disclosure statement to the village contract.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2)
An offence against subsection (1) is a strict liability offence.
(3)
In this section:
disclosure statement includes a disclosure statement amended in writing and signed by the prospective resident.
