30 Certain documents to be given on request
(1)
If a prospective resident of a retirement village asks the operator of the village to post or otherwise give the person a copy of a document mentioned in section 29 (1) (a) to (j), the operator must post or otherwise give a copy of the document to the prospective resident within 7 days after the prospective resident asks for it.
(2)
The operator of the village commits an offence if the operator does not comply with subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(3)
An offence against subsection (2) is a strict liability offence.
