13 Infringement notices for offence detected by traffic offence detection device—time of service—Act, s 24 (2)

An infringement notice for an offence detected by a traffic offence detection device may only be served on a responsible person for the vehicle involved in the offence within 28 days after the day the offence was committed.

Note Section 14 applies if an infringement notice declaration made in relation to an offence detected by a traffic offence detection device is accepted by the administering authority for the offence and the administering authority serves an infringement notice on a person nominated in the declaration as being in possession or control of the vehicle at the time of the offence.
