40 Advertising
(1)
A person commits an offence if—
(a)
the person advertises that the person carries on, or is willing to carry on, a security activity; and
(b)
the person is not the holder of a licence that authorises the person to carry on the security activity mentioned in the advertisement.
Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.
(2)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
(3)
In this section:
advertisement includes a business card, brochure, newsletter or form.
