15 Surveyors to notify change of address
A surveyor commits an offence if—
the surveyor has a registered business address; and
any of the following changes happen:
the address changes;
the address stops being a business address of the surveyor; and
the surveyor fails to tell the surveyor-general, in writing, about the change as soon as practicable but not later than 21 days after the day the change happens.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
A surveyor commits an offence if—
the surveyor does not have a registered business address; and
either of the following changes happen:
the surveyor’s home address changes;
the surveyor gets a business address; and
the surveyor fails to tell the surveyor-general, in writing, about the change as soon as practicable but not later than 21 days after the day the change happens.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
