12 Assessment committee
(1)
As soon as practicable, and not more than 14 days after receiving an application, the president must appoint 1 assessment board member from each category mentioned in section 31 (1) (b) to a committee (an assessment committee) to decide the application.
(2)
The president may appoint themselves to the committee for the category mentioned in section 31 (1) (b) (i).
(3)
A regulation may prescribe requirements about the appointment of assessment board members to an assessment committee.
