41 Termination of registration by registered waste transporter
(1)
A registered waste transporter may terminate its registration by giving the waste manager written notice of intention to terminate the registration (a termination notice).
(2)
A registration terminated in accordance with subsection (1) takes effect on whichever of the following happens first:
(a)
if the termination notice does not state a date on which the registration takes effect—the day that is 4 weeks after the day the notice is given to the waste manager;
(b)
if the termination notice states a date on which the registration takes effect—the stated date;
(c)
the day on which the next fee for registration becomes payable.
