170D How claim for payment made if licensed insurer wound up
(1)
This section applies to a claim for payment in relation to a workers compensation liability if—
(a)
the claim is made against the employer; and
(b)
the liability of the employer to pay the compensation is covered by a compulsory insurance policy; and
(c)
the licensed insurer has been wound up.
(2)
The claim for payment must be—
(a)
in writing; and
(b)
given to the DI fund manager with a copy of any judgment, order or award relating to the claim.
