55 Analysis of chemical products—tests
For the purposes of Part 5 of the Code, a sample of a substance or mixture of substances must be analysed by means of any of the following tests that apply to the substance or mixture:
a test prescribed in an order made under section 7 of the Act;
a test specified in:
the CIPAC Handbook and Addenda published by the Collaborative International Pesticides Analytical Council Limited; or
the AOAC Manual and Addenda published by the Association of Official Analytical Chemists;
the British Pharmacopoeia; or
the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary); or
the European Pharmacopoeia; or
the United States Pharmacopeia;
any other test approved by the APVMA in writing.
