186 Notification of proposals to carry out controlled activities
The regulations may make provision for and in relation to requiring a person to give information to the operator of an airport, where the information is relevant to a proposal to carry out a controlled activity in relation to prescribed airspace connected with the airport.
Offence
A person commits an offence if:
the person is subject to a requirement under the regulations to give information to the operator of an airport; and
the person engages in conduct; and
the person’s conduct contravenes the requirement.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
Strict liability
Strict liability applies to paragraph (2)(a).

Regulations may confer discretionary powers on the Minister
Regulations made for the purposes of this section may make provision for or in relation to a matter by conferring a power on the Minister. For example, the regulations could provide that the Minister may, by written notice given to a person, require the person to give to the airport‑lessee company for an airport, within the period and in the manner specified in the notice, specified information about proposals to carry out controlled activities in relation to prescribed airspace connected with the airport.
